I have no idea what kind of bird this is but it was huge! He was standing by a little pond in Unionville and flew away as soon as I got close. If I had the time I would have used a faster shutter speed to stop the action better but I worked with what I had already set when the big guy was standing still. Along with the regular adjustment layers I did some minor dodging to this image to make the grass in the background stand out. I also selectively increased the saturation a touch on the bird.
